Reservation for Women!

Published by Dr. Anil K Agarwal under General

Reservation for women:

Today, in the morning I read news that was on the front page; it was regarding the reservation of a coach for women in Delhi Metro Rail. It is good news for women who travel in the Metro. Delhi Metro is plying jam-packed on every route. It is because of over population of the city. Imagine if you are sitting comfortably in an over crowded couch, what a pleasurable journey you will enjoy that no body can explain in words. Delhi Metro has announced reservation facility for women. It is known that already some seats were reserved for women, aged people and physically challenged people. This new arrangement is the additional facility for women. For a long time some women organizations were demanding reserved coach for women. Their demand was accepted by Delhi Metro yesterday though it is started on experimental basis. If it is implemented successfully it will become the permanent feature of the Delhi Metro. The order will be operational from October 2nd, the day of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth. It would be better if it had been started on the women day or the day which is related to women. Continue Reading »

A horse that disguised as an elephant

Published by Dr. Anil K Agarwal under stories

In Udaipur I saw some unusual things and one of them was disguised as an elephant. There were some framed pictures having horse with an artificial trunk so that the horse would be seen like an elephant. I had not noticed this unusual thing in the picture but my guide pointed it out. He told me that it was not for the sake of fun but it is a technique to mislead elephants. When an artificial trunk is put on the face of a horse it looks like a mini elephant. When this disguised mini elephant goes in to war the enemy elephant would think that it is also a mini elephant and belong to my community so that the elephant wouldn’t attack the disguised elephant.

On the other side see the nature of man who kills animals as well as his own people. Man has two eyes even then he is blind due to his selfishness. If you are asked who will destroy the planet earth. The answer will be only in one word and the word is ‘man’. Only man corrupts the whole nature of the earth even though he says he is the most intelligent creature in the world. Some men are even daring to say that they are God. Only God will save this earth from these devils disguised as men.

A doctor went in to the room of a lady patient. After a few minutes he came out of the room and demanded a pair of scissors. After five minutes he again came out of the room and asked about a screw driver. After some time he again came out of the room, took a hammer and turned about. The moment he took turn the lady’s husband asked the doctor about the disease of his wife.

Doctor replied, ‘I don’t know. Presently I am trying to open my briefcase.’

A professor went to a minister’s office to get his transfer stopped. The minister saw his file and said, ‘You hail from the same city so why are you trying to stop your transfer?’

The professor replied, ‘Sir, my wife is a principal of that college.’

There was an advertisement in a news paper – ‘Required a watch man’, one who has long height and moustache may apply for the post. A man who had long moustache went for the interview. He was asked what he did. He replied, ‘I am sitting at home idly and growing my moustache.’

Talk of two pickpockets – ‘See, what is written in a news paper – a doctor left a scissor in the abdomen of the patient during an operation. That was revealed in X-ray later on. We are better than these doctors. We do pick pocketing but don’t leave blade in his pocket.’
